Joanie is a Partner and Co-founder of StoneSassa Group. She has nearly six years’ experience in recruiting for clients in the Financial Executive Search space. Specialties within the financial executive search space include Asset Management, Investment Banking, Risk, Technology, Research and Accounting search professionals. Joanie’s passion is getting to know candidates on a personal level and matching them with recruiting firms that will create a good interpersonal and cultural fit. Earlier in her career, Joanie was a sales professional, marketing to doctors and attorneys. A native Washingtonian, Joanie currently divides her time between New York City and Delaware. She enjoys travel, cooking and fitness. Joanie holds a B.S. in Information Systems Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland.
Lisa is Partner and Co-founder of StoneSassa Group. After a successful career in real estate, Lisa started a boutique recruiting firm with her partner Joanie Sassa. Lisa and Joanie identified an opportunity in the marketplace for a business focusing on recruiters. She divides her time between the Greater Philadelphia area and New York City. Lisa enjoys meeting and speaking with candidates – all who work with her have been in touch to thank her for their new roles and significantly enhanced career trajectories. Lisa received her college preparatory education at the Tower Hill School, her undergraduate degree from Ithaca College in New York and Law Degree from St John’s University. Shortly after Law School graduation, she returned to Wilmington, DE to donate a kidney to her mother.
